Avanemine means The Opening or The Awakening.

The way a person looks at it is always different but the way it was originally seen by the band is thus. It is a opening of the self – physical, spiritual, literal and metaphorical.

It goes together with the band’s name Pime meaning Blind or Dark as you see fit.

The Blind - awakening their inner eye, their inner spirit. Seeing freely and without lies and deceit. The concept of spring after a long dark winter. The Dark - is the entity which the common folk do not dare or is unable to look at.
